OLDER NEWS!!

The new Karate classes start this Wednesday 19th of May and The filipino martial arts class as moved to a Wednesday too. The Thursday class is now is a Kickboxing and Grappling class.
 
 No classes on Monday 3rd of may due to bank holiday   Congratulations to Lionel Lustria & Paul Buckfield who have become the first instructors under Terry Valler obtaining there Filipino Martial Arts Level 1 Instructorship
 
 Brand New classes at the academy.  Tueday Nights at no extra cost!!!!!! classes will be 2 hrs of Kickboxing in area 1 and 2 hrs of grappling in Area 2 from Tuesday 20th of April.We also have a brand new Karate class and another Filipino Martial art class coming soon 


 
No Classes on Bank Holiday Monday 5th of April. Back to normal after that!!!!!!!!

Terry Valler and students Ade irwin and Andy Poole have just come back from a awesome Guro Dan Inosanto seminar in edinburgh. We covered on day 1 arts inc jkd, kali, silat in the clinch and also in kickboxing on day 2 we covered Double. single and knife. We all had a great time and was great to catch up with old friends too.

Thank you to everyone who came to the christmas meal. Everybody had fun and a good laugh and time went fast. A special mention to nick who did the scorpion exercise on the way out of the pub.

Xmas Meal!!

The meal cost £15.95 with a £5 deposit

Our last class of the year is Wednesday 23/12/09 and we start again on Monday 4/01/2010

We now have new designed t shirts and trousers in. We now have hoodies with the club logo and name of club for general wear.

Everyone is required to wear the club uniform

Terry enjoyed a 4 hour seminar with his instructor Ralph jones, a full instructor in jkd and Kali under guro inosanto,on the 21st of november 09 as well as a 2hr private lesson week before



The meal to celebrate Andy Poole getting married went great and everybody had a good time. Thank you to everyone who came and next one will be the xmas club dinner.

The club meal is set for Thursday 24th of september at TGI Fridays at 7.30 Meet outside TGI's at 7.20

There is on class on Monday 31th of August due to it being a bank holiday

Terry will be teaching that the martial arts planet (MAP) charity seminar on the Saturday 29th of August at the bracknell leisure centre. Start time 10.30am. There will be other instructors teaching workshops as well. cost is £15 and it goes to Help the Hero's   On the Thursday 24th of september we are to TGI'S for a club meal and to celebrate the wedding of students Andy Poole. who is getting married a few days later

Congratulation to Duncan Wisbey who was promoted to (Orange Level 1) and to Paul Buckfield (Green Level 3) Well done guys!! Congratulations to Sean Goodfellow who received his Red Belt level 5 on Wednesday 22/07/09.

NEW Practical and Effective Self Defence Courses now available on a one to one and two to one basis. Using techniques from the RAT (Rapid Assault Tactics) Programme developed by Paul Vunak to effectively defend ones' life in the most efficient and safest manner possible. The RAT enables average men and women to quickly defend themselves against a larger aggressor.


Also introducing our NEW Personal Fitness Programme. Personal Training is very specific to your requirements and focuses on key aspects of your fitness to ensure that you get and stay fit and healthy in the best possible way. Focusing on Cardio Conditioning, Muscle Strength, Core Stability and Enduarance. Functional training without a reliance on machines using: Body Weight Exercises, Thai Boxing, Running, Pyometric Exercises, Kettle Bells, Punch Bags and Focus Pads.


The FIRST GRADING is on Monday 2nd March. The grading costs £15 and includes a certificate and the next colour grade t-shirt. If you are unsure if you are ready to grade, please contact Terry Valler on 07734 034 562.
 

The club uniform consists of the appropriate grading level t-shirt and either MMA shorts or Kickboxing trousers. These should be worn at all times.
